Calastone has appointed Carlo Minieri as managing director, business development in Asia. In his new role, Minieri will be responsible for identifying and landing new relationships in the Asia region, increasing the visibility of Calastone in key markets and associations, developing a wider use of the blockchain-based distributed market infrastructure platform in the region and coordinating sales efforts within the organisation. Minieri joins from Euroclear where he most recently served as head of sales, relationship and account management in Asia Pacific.He also served as head of sales, relationship and account management North Asia and Pacific and head of Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, director of the commercial division.
