BNY Mellon adds Ralph Izzo to its board of directors

BNY Mellon has appointed Ralph Izzo to the board of directors as an independent director, effective immediately.

He currently serves as chairman, president and CEO of Public Service Enterprise Group, a diversified energy company, a position he has held since 2007.

Izzo is also currently chair of the Nuclear Energy Institute and a member of the US Department of Energy’s fusion energy sciences advisory committee.

Following Izzo’s appointment to the audit and corporate governance, nominating, and social responsibility committees, the BNY Mellon board now comprises of 11 directors, ten of which are independent.

Todd Gibbons, CEO of BNY Mellon, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Ralph Izzo to our board. With wide-ranging expertise, from strategic planning to finance and risk management, he will bring a variety of valuable insights.”
