Lithuania's CSD in management shake-up

Shortly after being acquired by NASDAQ OMX, the central securities depository of Lithuania has elected new representatives for the management board.

The company elected the following NASDAQ OMX representatives: Vidmantas Drobelis, Catharina Hovemyr, Algimantas Romeika, Teuvo Rossi, and Arminta Saladžien?, head of Baltic markets, who was also elected as chair.

Mindaugas Bakas was appointed as new president of the Central Securities Depository of Lithuania after Art?ras Keleras was recalled from the position.

Before this appointment, Bakas served as head of Vilnius Market Development Department for almost five years and was member of the Vilnius management board. He has 11 years of securities industry experience in managing positions in the large Lithuanian banks.
