Aberdeen Immobilien picks Caceis as depository service provider

Aberdeen Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft has selected Caceis Investor Services in Germany as its new depository services provider for ‘WertFonds S’, a real estate special fund for institutional investors, managed by Acteum Investment.

“For us it was important to engage an asset servicing bank like Caceis, which is capable of supporting both the complex structures of a Service KAG and those of an asset manager,” stated Matthias Drüppel, Managing Director of Acteum.

CACEIS performed a successful migration of the fund by the agreed deadline. The German investor services firm currently holds €20 billion in direct and indirect real estate assets under Depotbank.

Holger Sepp, co-head and member of the management board of Caceis, Germany, said: “We are building a close partnership with Aberdeen Immobilien and Acteum, and will do our utmost to support their business development plans going forward.”
