Deutsche Bank adds David West to APAC region

Deutsche Bank’s global transaction banking division has appointed David West as regional head of trust and agency services in Asia Pacific.

West will be based in Hong Kong and report to Mrugank Paranjape, regional head of trust and sercurities services and cash management for financial institutions, Asia Pacific.

In his new role, David will build on Deutsche Bank’s trust and agency services (TAS) business, which comprises corporate trust, including agency and trustee services and escrow solutions, as well as corporate services, including special purpose vehicles administration and fund of hedge fund services.

Since moving to Deutsche Bank in 1999, West has held various positions within the bank’s TAS business in the US, UK and Hong Kong. Most recently, West was the regional head of
product management for the TAS business in Asia Pacific.

Paranjape said: “West brings with him a wealth of experience in all facets of the corporate trust and agency services business. I am confident that he will be very successful in his new role.”

West replaces Sally Gilding who has been appointed global head of Corporate Services.
