Calastone, the fund transaction network, is seeking to expand in the Australian managed funds marketplace by hiring Shannon Sweeney as its managing director in Australia.
Sweeney was most recently product manager of the global fund segment strategy leading global middle office and fund administration product at RBC.
Julien Hammerson, CEO and executive chairman said: “We are delighted to have Sweeney on board to drive our business at a key point in the development of Calastone in the Australian managed funds marketplace. Sweeney will build on the focused market development led by Kevin Lee, joint founder who is returning home to the UK and will become a non-executive director of Calastone, the global parent.”
