Macquarie has recruited BNY Mellon colleagues Mark Dwyer and Graham Cook.
The hires are a part of Macquarie’s plans to extend its presence in Europe the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Dwyer and Cook join the firm from BNY Mellon. Dwyer will become head of EMEA portfolio solutions and Cook will hold a senior transition manager position.
They join from the BNY Mellon management transition arm, which is closing down.
While at BNY Mellon, Dwyer served as the head of EMEA beta and transition management—the department in which Cook was a director.
The appointees have a "proven track record of providing portfolio solutions to some of the world's leading asset owners", according to Damien Hoult, global head of execution services at Macquarie.
"Their deep industry experience will help us connect EMEA-based clients to our global agency execution platform."
Macquarie also hired Fred Fogg and Lance Vegna in 2013 as co-heads of portfolio solutions in the Americas.
