A new head of distribution for BNY Mellon

BNY Mellon Investment Management has named Joseph Moran as head of private bank and registered investment advisor (RIA) distribution.

The position is relatively new to BNY Mellon and Moran will have responsibility for distributing Dreyfus mutual funds and other BNY Mellon financial services in North America.

Moran has 20 years of financial services distribution experience and joins BNY Mellon from Oppenhiemer where he headed wealth management distribution.

Moran will report to Kim Mustin, BNY Mellon Investment Management’s head of North American distribution.

She said: "Joe's relationships and experience within the private bank and RIA market will enable us to accelerate our efforts in this area. We are delighted to add Joe's results-proven experience to drive our business forward."
