Two new appointments for Avaloq

Dr Enrico Ardielli has been promoted to group chief acquisition officer (CAO) for the Avaloq group.

The new position is part of the global processing network (GPN) created by the board of directors to continue Avaloq’s market vision and growth plans.

As CAO, Ardielli will be responsible for the handling of acquisitions at minimum risk. Ardielli has been part of Avaloq for over 12 years and his new role will also mean he becomes a member of the board of directors in the various Avaloq group subsidiaries.

Ardielli’s previous role as group chief financial officer (CFO) will be taken over by Markus Bertini.

Francisco Fernandez, group CEO of Avaloq, said: “I am glad that we could appoint two outstanding finance professionals for these key positions.”

“Thanks to Ardielli’s extensive knowledge and his great achievements for the Avaloq group so far, I am convinced that the group CAO position is perfectly filled and that he will further strengthen our business model and group strategy.”

“At the same time, Bertini’s passion for entrepreneurship and vast financial experience make him the best choice for the group CFO position.”
