Polaris expands strategic leadership

Polaris Consulting & Services has appointed Uma Krishnan as a director on the board and N.M. Vaidyanathan as chief financial officer, effective 19 March.

Krishnan has experience in the financial services sector and in developing strategy and vision, conceptualising, building and leading large cross-functional, geographically diverse teams.

Her leadership roles include senior positions in Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in the UK.

Vaidyanathan is finance and operations leader with experience in various organisations across sectors.

He has developed expertise in creating and implementing strategic business plans, managing finances, allocating capital, and optimising operations and processes.

Prior to his new role, Vaidyanathan was associated with Vivimed Labs, an India-based global supplier of specialty chemicals and pharmaceuticals as group CFO.
