BNY Mellon appoints global distribution co-heads

BNY Mellon Investment Management has promoted Kim Mustin and Matt Oomen to co-heads of global distribution, replacing PeterPaul Pardi.

The pair will be responsible for strategy and results within global distribution, as well as management of the distribution team and infrastructure across all channels and regions.

Mustin will continue to be based in New York, while Oomen will remain in London, and both will report to Mitchell Harris, president of BNY Mellon Investment Management.

Curtis Arledge, vice chairman of BNY Mellon and CEO of investment management, said: “The continued success and growth of our distribution capabilities remains a top priority and key driver for our business.”

He added: “As experienced global leaders, Mustin and Oomen are a dynamic team and will work across the organisation with product, marketing and sales, as well as our investment boutiques, to drive strong performance and results for our clients.”

Mustin has served as head of North American distribution since April 2014, and before this she was head of global strategic accounts at OppenheimerFunds.

Oomen joined BNY Mellon Investment Management in 2001, and has held positions in client management, strategy and operations. Most recently he was head of European distribution and head of the executive committee for Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
