New SGSS service is I-DEAL

Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has launched a new dealing desk outsourcing service for asset and investment manager, I-DEAL.

The service is designed to optimise and simplify trade executions as the industry environment has become more complex and more competitive, and covers a range of asset classes and global markets.

I-DEAL covers order placement, routing and execution, and facilitates regulatory reporting and some middle-office services. Managers can optimise and rationalise trading activities with best-execution and reporting processes, while offering straight-though processing to help firms reduce operational risk.

It is also designed to integrate with SGSS’s custody services, depository control, fund administration and asset servicing offerings.

Léonard Ollier, head of business development for I-DEAL at SGSS, said: “I-DEAL replaces clients’ needs to adapt their organisations and resources to meet challenges that are not core to their business activities.”

“This new service enables asset managers to gain both in agility and efficiency while meeting a triple-need of maintaining ties with the market, monitoring and improving trade execution and ensuring optimal management of their investment strategies.”
