Johnstone-Scott rises in the ranks at Elian

Elian Fund Services has appointed Giles Johnstone-Scott as funds director.

Johnstone-Scott has been with Elian since 2008, and is responsible for the administration of several private equity funds and corporate structures.

As part of the management team, he will be responsible for the ongoing operations of the company’s funds business. He will also be involved in client relationship management, business development, systems development and talent management.

Previously, Johnstone-Scott has held roles at Kleinwort Benson and Mourant du Feu & Jeune.

Paul Lawrence, head of European funds at Elian, said: “Giles Johnstone-Scott has been part of an integral group of professionals who have built up Elian’s significant and respected global funds business over the past decade. He is now in a position to further develop the funds service and its capabilities.”
