ICE expands clearing risk management senior team

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has appointed Boudewijn Duinstra to the newly created role of head of first line clearing risk for ICE Clear Europe.

Prior to joining ICE, Duinstra worked for ABN AMRO Clearing Bank NV where he was global chief risk officer and also served on the board from 201, where he was responsible for market, credit and operational risk management across the bank.

Previously, Duinstra oversaw risk management and trading at Fortis Bank Global Clearing NV, a European proprietary trading firm.

Finbarr Hutcheson, president of ICE Clear Europe, said: “Boudewijn Duinstra brings extensive risk management experience from over 20 years working in financial markets and I look forward to working with him in this newly created role.”
