CoInvestor bolsters team with three new hires

CoInvestor has made three new hires in a bid to boost adoption of its its software for financial advisers and fund managers.

Darren Fletcher has been hired as business development associate. He was previously at Intelliflo, a supplier of financial adviser software.

Ella-Louise Houghton has been appointed client success manager, joining from Thomson Reuters, where she was account manager.

Declan Blackwood has moved to CoInvestor from Coutts, a private bank. He was previously associate private banker.

CoInvestor offers digitisation of alternative assets, providing fund managers and financial advisors with software to improve management of the asset class.

According to CoInvestor, the new additions to the team will enhance its ability to provide solutions to meet the challenges advisers and investors face.

Sam Plumptre, chief executive of CoInvestor, said: “As the alternative asset industry is becoming more attractive to investors our client base is expanding. Our aim is to bring this historically opaque asset class to the mainstream by streamlining online applications and enhancing current processes to save fund managers and advisers significant amounts of time.”

He added: “By bolstering the client team with specialists from the wealth management and technology space we further strengthen our ability to solve the current frustrations that advisers and investors face and increase internal efficiencies to make it easier to invest in high-quality alternative assets.”
