Genesis hails SimCorp success

Genesis Investment Management has declared its implementation of the SimCorp Coric solution for client reporting a success, estimating that the product has improved client reporting efficiency by more than 40 percent.

The cloud-based client communications and reporting suite was intended to reduce clients’ total cost of ownership and to reduce implementation timescales.

Genesis has revealed it produced 700 reports in December 2015, without any issue, and time to complete one client report has reportedly been reduced from six hours to about 10 minutes.

SimCorp Coric dashboards are used to monitor distribution, and the full reporting process is integrated with existing Genesis systems.

The product is intended to create personalised, accurate and consistent client reports, quickly, reducing manual efforts in generating, validating and distributing reports.

Genesis COO Jens Moller-Butcher, said: “At Genesis we are 100 percent focused on achieving the investment goals of our clients. SimCorp Coric has helped us minimise the technological challenges and risk associated with the client reporting process.”

Stuart Keeler, managing director at SimCorp Coric, said: “We are delighted that Genesis has found SimCorp Coric to be the best match for their client reporting automation requirements and very much look forward to supporting the business in the future.”
