Intertrust in Jersey has made a spate of promotions, including elevating Sherin Sugeeswaran to the role of associate director in the fund services team.
Having worked in the team since 2009, Sugeeswaran will now be responsible for managing staff and for client relationship management, including fund valuation and setting up new funds.
Hers is one of five promotions in the firm. Ellen Chislett has become associate director in the capital markets team, taking on responsibility for business development and financial reporting for structures in Jersey, Luxembourg, Ireland and the Cayman Islands.
Chislett has been a manager at Intertrust in Jersey for eight years.
Frances Allen has become an associate director in the corporate services, having joined the team as a trainee administrator in 2004.
Finally, Laura Butler and Will Jardine have become associate directors in the performance and reward management team.
According to Intertrust, the new associate directors will be tasked with fulfilling the firm’s global strategy, as well as furthering the objectives of their respective teams.
Simon Mackenzie, managing director of Intertrust in Jersey, said: “It’s fantastic to strengthen our team with five new associate directors across our service lines.”
He added: “Associate directors assume a level of responsibility for developing their service lines and need to balance this with managing existing client relationships; we’re confident that they will take this in their stride and contribute even further to strengthening our company.”
