Simply Executive are working with a banking client in London who are looking for a Senior Project Manager on an initial 6 month contract. You must have experience in delivering regulatory programmes (FATCA, CRS or Customer Screening background) as well as proven experience in an IT Developer or Project Management environment.

Key responsibilities:

Responsibility for all aspects of the project

Work with and co-ordinate the entire team

Ensure business requirements are met or exceeded, on time and within budget in line with business targets;

Define Critical Success Factors, Key Performance Indicators and other objectives that must be met by the project;

Create required project artefacts using group standard tools;

Produce effective progress reports

Facilitate and chair regular project meetings and follow-up with project team members

Manage project budget, produce expenditure figures and provide Finance & Planning

Must have:

Degree educated

5+ years’ experience as Senior Project Manager within Financial Services

Experienced in delivering regulatory programmes. FATCA, CRS or Customer Screening background
preferred

Proven experience in an IT Development or Project Management

Including: Interpersonal skills, management, leadership, communications, sales, planning and
organising, project management skills etc.

Strong leadership skills

Relationship management

Outstanding business judgement and ability to consult on what the business needs

Excellent presentation skills and ability to negotiate

High level planning and management skills

Able to budget, track and control expenditure

Proven experience in managing large risks and problem resolution

Desirable Skills

2+ years Agile experience

User story mapping

Active in Agile meetings when required for retrospectives, scrum of scrums
