For this reputable investment management firm we are looking for a Trade Support /
Settlements Administrator. You will be responsible for providing day to day support on a
busy settlements desk covering Crest, International and Collective Investments. This is a
varied role and will require an individual that is organised and disciplined and able to
manage multiple tasks on a daily basis. It will also involve working closely with the
dealing desk and colleagues within the other Operational departments.

Main Responsibilities

Take a proactive approach in resolving business concerns or problems

Confirming trades with counterparties

Crest Checking and Foreign checking on internal systems

Review daily trade files from custodians to ensure all trades are matched and address any

Investigate and resolve any failed trades, non-receipts and interest claims

Liaise with Wealth Managers/Custodians on a day to day basis ensuring all trades are
completed and/or settled in a timely manner

Follow up with Unit Trust Manager for contract notes and subsequent input of trades to
internal systems

Use of EMX to generate contract notes for trades placed

Input of contracts into the system with settlement instructions/ confirmation details

Back up for administration of all dealing error trades and subsequent reconciliation and reporting

Reconciliation of positions held by 3rd party custodians

Amend trades as required

FX booking

Completion of Fund Application forms where required

Payments for trades that require funds in advance

Process incoming postal queries

Build and maintain a working knowledge of clients' operating environments

Monitor group email inbox and ensure queries are responded to within our agreed service

Monitor Margin Accounts

Ensure that accurate controls and records are maintained as instructed by the Team Leader

Keep abreast of the industry standards and knowledge

Ad hoc projects as assigned
