Forming part of the Business Oversight function within the COO group of EMEA Asset Servicing this role will be the KYC/AML SME for the alternatives business and be responsible for a number of KYC and AML activities including the interface with AML Compliance and the AML Due Diligence teams and providing guidance to the business.

Primary Responsibilities

KYC SME for the alternatives business – have detailed knowledge of all forms of alternative structures covering multiple jurisdictions including Loan Vehicles, Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Funds

Provide guidance and support to the CRO’s in discussions with their clients

Manage SLA’s with KYC Centre of Excellence

Oversee periodic review completions and work with AML Compliance and the AML DD
team to remove road blocks

Represent the business at EAMLOC, AMLOC and other KYC/AML related forums

Be the POC for the COE – advising on client specific issues, escalations

Training and education for CRO’s

Weekly Reporting and escalation to the business

Secondary Responsibilities

Front Office procedures - roll out of new requirements

Assist with updating business policies and procedures to incorporate new regulations

Owner of KRI’s

Management of static data clean up exercises e.g. CID linkages

Annual org code attestations

Annual PEP Reviews

Annual AML Risk Assessment

Business Sanctions Coordinator

Annual OFAC surveys

Qualifications

Requirements

Strong knowledge of KYC/AML requirements

Comprehensive understanding of alternative fund structures

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Good analytical skills and proactive work approach

Good powerpoint and excel skills

Good networking skills and a team player
