Leading global European investment bank is looking to add a motivated and driven individual to it's liquidity risk reporting team. The role's scope of responsibilities include overseeing the liquidity reporting initiatives, strategizing with the ALM team on model challenge, and implementing a controls framework for the the data quality oversight.

The bank has significant initiatives in the coming years which include strengthening and adapting technology infrastructure and business processes for Risk and liquidity reporting productions needs. These initiatives include implementing regulatory reporting for regulatory/compliance initiatives for both global and US operations. It includes daily, weekly and monthly liquidity fund reporting and liquidity stress test reporting, as well as various other funding flow snapshots. In addition, the team interfaces with regulators and business support for reviews, examinations as well as reporting requirement changes.

This is a management role with 3 direct reports. It reports to the Head of Liquidity Risk.

Responsibilities

Oversee weekly and monthly stress testing reporting for all reporting entities including banking product reporting, liquidity stressed model on treasury, fixed income, equity and prime brokerage business.

Oversee stress testing controls on data quality and model behavior.

Oversight of controls framework on stress testing reporting including Liquidity Accounting Consistency (LAC) process, Balance Sheet reconciliation, back testing, sensitivity analysis, daily dashboard reporting, daily cash flow projection and etc

Periodic review on model soundness and collaborate with ALM team on model challenge

Managing production issues including system feed issues, manual adjustments and follow up data enhancements with system projects

Assisting in regulator reviews and internal audit reviews

Participating in projects of system automation and enhancements, model user-acceptance-testing (UAT)

Short term solution to stabilize data reporting by use of excel or other tools, including macro to facilitate reporting needs

Experience

5 years experience in financial institutions

Strong accounting and finance background and experience in Liquidity funding reporting, Liquidity stress testing and model testing/validation

Experience in regulatory reporting in liquidity risk management, stress testing and other relevant compliance requirements (e.g. SR11-7)

Knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS (International Accounting Standards)

Product knowledge in Banks --- derivatives, loans, funding vehicles, currencies, fixed income and equity securities

Strong writing and communication skills

Ability to work independently with aggressive deadlines

CPA preferred although not required
