My client a leading investment bank with operations all over the globe is currently searching for a liquidity manager to join them on a contract basis in their offices in London. You will be an accomplished Liquidity manager with experience working in Tier-1 banks in London. Some of the main products that you'll interact with will be fixed income, Rates, Equities, Prime finance and portfolio lending, so experience with these will be highly beneficial.
Supports holistic, cross-product development of the bank's liquidity risk management framework.
Team is responsible for ensuring that the framework for identifying measuring and managing risk operates effectively and supports the steering of resource within the context of business strategy.
High level of commercial awareness, technical risk expertise and the ability to build relationships and manage a wide variety of stakeholders, including: Regulatory Reporting,
Interpretations, Risk, Business Heads, Regulators and the Treasury ExCo.
Specific responsibilities will include developing new Liquidity Risk product models, monitoring
funding and liquidity requirements of businesses, developing Liquidity MIS, working in partnership
with Treasury Planning and Divisional FRM to effectively steer business balance sheet.
Experience within a Treasury department or business unit / support unit of an investment bank's
Ideally have had interaction and experience with fixed income and equity products / businesses.
Experience in drafting documentation to Board or Regulatory standard (e.g ILAAs, Internal policy
documents) would be useful.
Articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently.
Ability to interface with business units and stakeholders.
