HSBC India completes custody deal with Franklin Templeton

HSBC Securities Services (HSS) India has completed its custody deal with one of the top ten asset managers in India, Franklin Templeton.

HSS India completed a ‘seamless transition of assets in record time’ after Franklin Templeton consolidated its custody and fund administration services with HSS.

Anuj Rathi, managing director and head of HSS India, commented: “The successful implementation of this complex mandate further strengthens HSS India’s position as one of the leading custodians and fund administrators for asset owners and managers in the country, alongside being a leading service provider for cross border investments into India.”

HSS was also recently appointed custodian and administrator in November last year for the International Asset Management’s UCITS and alternative investment fund ICAV’s multi-manager platforms, domiciled in Ireland.
