CACEIS Bank has been authorised by the ACPR, France’s banking and insurance regulator, to provide crypto-asset services.
The procedures of which are laid out in Article 60 of MiCA, the European Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation.
CACEIS can now offer custody and administration of crypto-assets, reception and transmission of orders and the transfer of crypto-assets.
Laurent Majchrzak, group head of digital assets at CACEIS, says: “It strengthens our position as a trusted third party, supporting the transformation of financial markets. By offering our clients the opportunity to invest in both traditional financial instruments and crypto-assets within the same portfolio, we are enhancing CACEIS’ value proposition.”
