Apex Group, a global financial services provider, has appointed John Amberg as chief compliance officer.
He will be based in New York.
Amberg holds over 25 years experience across compliance, legal, and regulatory affairs and most recently served as the global chief compliance and ethics officer at Northern Trust.
He has previously held roles as deputy general counsel at Northern Trust, head of commercial litigation at Motorola Solutions, and assistant chief litigation counsel at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
