Komainu, a regulated digital asset services provider and custodian, backed by Laser Digital and Blockstream, has appointed Jamal Qaimmaqami as general counsel for the MENA and APAC regions.
In his new role, Qaimmaqami will oversee all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters across the MENA and APAC regions.
Qaimmaqami brings over 25 years of legal experience across private practice, investment banking, asset management, and fintech.
He has previously worked as general counsel at several firms including FM Capital Partners, Jia Finance and Marco Polo Network and most recently at Kanexa.
