Western Alliance Trust Company has selected Antonio Portuondo to steer its Municipal Corporate Trust initiative.
Portuondo has worked in corporate trust and public finance for 26 years, in roles spanning client relationships and regulatory expertise.
He was president and chairperson of the board at The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company for the past six years.
Here he supervised the asset servicing, corporate trust and clearing, and collateral management businesses.
He led BNY Mellon’s Corporate Trust Public Finance business for 15 years, including working as public finance chief administration officer.
