Nordea Asset Management (NAM) has appointed J.P. Morgan Securities Services to service its newly launched BetaPlus exchange traded funds (ETFs).
The bank will provide NAM with a range of services, including fund accounting, custody, transfer agency, order taking, ETF servicing, and basket services.
According to NAM, the move to an ETF structure responds to growing client demand for efficiency, accessibility, and transparency, all while retaining the core benefits of an actively managed, and sustainability-integrated approach.
Ciaran Fitzpatrick, global head of ETF product management at J.P. Morgan, says:
“We are seeing tremendous growth in Europe, particularly in the active ETF segment of the market, so it is a pleasure to have worked on this strategic partnership with NAM, increasing our relationship across both firms.
“The BetaPlus ETF range will build on the incredible success of the existing NAM BetaPlus mutual fund structure across Europe, and we are delighted to be part of that story.”
