Chainlink, an oracle platform, and WisdomTree, a global asset manager, have collaborated via Chainlink’s DataLink Services to publish net asset value (NAV) data on Ethereum mainnet for the WisdomTree Private Credit and Alternative Income Digital Fund.
The launch of onchain NAV price feeds, connected to WisdomTree’s private credit fund, CRDT, reflects a step forward in the development of regulated tokenised funds.
Through incorporating WisdomTree’s tokenised product suite with pricing data infrastructure from Chainlink, WisdomTree is facilitating onchain data transparency and opening up opportunities within the DeFi ecosystem.
Through publishing NAV data onchain via Chainlink CRDT has access to automated, onchain NAV delivery using decentralised oracle networks, cryptographically-verifiable and publicly-auditable fund pricing data, accessible directly onchain, pricing data availability within smart contracts, with the potential to facilitate integration across DeFi and digital asset platforms.
Maredith Hannon, head of business development, digital assets at WisdomTree, notes: “By leveraging this infrastructure, we’re enhancing transparency and data integrity for tokenised real-world assets while supporting the broader growth of onchain financial markets.
“This collaboration demonstrates how regulated investment products can integrate seamlessly into blockchain ecosystems to unlock real-world yield opportunities.”
Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, comments: “I’m excited to see WisdomTree go live with Chainlink in production for its tokenised private credit fund, which proves how industry-standard onchain data infrastructure is now powering core institutional tokeniszed fund workflows.”
