Finternet Labs, a universal digital infrastructure company, has collaborated with Avalanche, a Layer-1 blockchain platform.
The firms say their partnership is targeting a potential US$10 billion market opportunity across sectors, including agriculture, finance, real estate, sports, entertainment, and education, among others.
The collaboration is launching its first pilot programme to facilitate new lending and financial opportunities across nearly US$2 billion of agriculture assets, showing a shift from experimentation to execution in India’s tokenisation journey.
This initiative will be driven by live, enterprise-grade use cases across multiple sectors, using Avalanche’s public blockchain infrastructure and Finternet’s ecosystem coordination.
Sanmesh Kalyanpur, director of Programs at Finternet Labs, notes: “This collaboration reflects a shared belief that tokenisation can be a foundational layer for the next phase of India’s financial innovation.
“With this partnership, we aim to demonstrate how global blockchain infrastructure can be adapted to local market needs and unlock significant economic opportunities.”
Commenting on the partnership, Devika Mittal, South Asia head at Ava Labs, remarks: “India represents a key market for the future of tokenised finance. Collaborations like this help bridge the gap between emerging onchain innovation and real-world financial systems.”
