Apex Group has appointed Rebecca Palmer as manager director of FundRock, New Zealand.

Palmer has a background as an independent professional director, ESG, and sustainable investing advisor.

She has experience across a wide range of fund structures and investment strategies spanning multiple jurisdictions, strengthening the management company services FundRock provides in the New Zealand market.

Palmer previously served as a non-executive director on both the FundRock New Zealand and Apex Investment Administration boards, drawing on her international governance and fund oversight background.

In 2023 she founded River Birch Advisory Services.

Prior to this she worked as an executive director for ESG at Waystone for two years and was director of asset management at KPMG before this.

Donna Mason, country head of Apex Group, New Zealand, notes: “With Rebecca joining FundRock as managing director, and with her breadth of experience, we look forward to continued positive change and to delivering the exceptional client outcomes our business is known for.”
