Datasite, a financial technology company that provides software and data infrastructure for private market transactions, and Legora, a collaborative AI platform for legal work, have announced a partnership.
This partnership aims to enable deal teams to analyse documents from Datasite data rooms directly within the Legora platform.
The integration intends to reduce workflow friction by allowing users to access and review documents without downloading files from virtual data rooms and uploading them into separate third-party tools.
Under the integration, Datasite permissions will automatically carry into Legora, meaning users will only be able to access documents they are already authorised to view within Datasite.
Rusty Wiley, president and CEO of Datasite, says: “AI belongs where deal work lives. With this integration, deal teams can pull Datasite documents straight into Legora and get to work. No manual exports, no security workarounds, no disruption in workflow.”
Max Junestrand, CEO and co-founder of Legora, adds: “M&A lawyers and bankers globally have been waiting for AI that meets them where the work actually happens, on the documents that matter, under the permissions they have already set.
“This integration delivers that. We are not asking deal teams to re-architect their workflows. We are enabling deal teams worldwide to use documents in Datasite data rooms directly on the Legora platform, where they can leverage Legora’s legal-specific AI to conduct due diligence, legal analysis, and drafting based on these documents while having Datasite's permissions intact.”
