G.H. Financials, an independent clearing partner for professional traders, is now live with Baton Systems' intraday liquidity management platform.

The deployment brings together Baton’s Balance Manager and Exposure Manager capabilities to provide a single, near-real-time view of cash balances, margin requirements, and collateral on deposit across nostro, central counterparty (CCP) clearing, and carry broker accounts.

The platform provides teams across G.H. Financials with a unified and accurate view of where funds are held, where margin obligations exist, and whether pledged collateral is sufficient at each venue.

By combining nostro positions with CCP and carry broker exposure data in one integrated interface, funding decisions across multiple currencies, legal entities, and time zones can be made with increased speed and confidence, the firm says.

Previously, reconciling cash positions against margin obligations across CCPs and carry brokers has required aggregation across multiple systems and reporting cycles.

Baton’s platform replaces that process with a single continuous view incorporating initial margin (IM) requirements, variation margin (VM) positions, collateral on deposit, and any excess or deficit against pledged collateral at each CCP and carry broker.

Kieran O'Regan, chief financial officer, G.H. Financials, notes: “Having a consolidated, near real-time view of our cash positions and margin requirements across every account, currency and legal entity has significantly improved our liquidity management.

“We can now make confident funding decisions faster and more accurately anticipate and proactively address upcoming liquidity needs.”

Arjun Jayaram, founder and CEO, Baton Systems adds: “It’s not just a solution built to address a current operational challenge, but a critical capability that clearers of all sizes will need to take advantage of the opportunities presented by institutional adoption of tokenised collateral, the use of agentic AI in treasury management and always-on markets.”
