Multifonds, a global solution provider for investment operations, has appointed R.G. Manalac as president, a move that the firm says underscores the company's commitment to accelerating growth globally.

Manalac will report directly to Oded Weiss, CEO of Multifonds.

In his new role, Manalac will be responsible for driving all revenue and go-to-market initiatives across the firm, with a mandate to identify and execute opportunities for expansion of Multifonds' core business on a global scale.

He will also play a key role in scaling the organisation as both Multifonds and its clients adapt to the demands of the digital and AI era, ensuring the firm is well-positioned to meet its revenue and growth targets.

Most recently, he served as senior vice president and head of Financial Technology for Asia Pacific at Nasdaq, where he led client engagement across the region and helped expand the company's footprint following its acquisition of Adenza in 2023.

During his tenure, he worked closely with senior executives at exchanges, financial institutions, asset owners, and regulators to develop technology solutions addressing complex regulatory and operational challenges.

Prior to Nasdaq, Manalac held executive roles at several financial technology firms, including Calypso and Adenza, where he built and led the APAC programme.

He also spent time at Eze Software, focusing on investment management technology solutions, and at ConvergEx Group, where he specialised in agency brokerage and trade execution services.
