IMTC, the fixed income technology platform, and MarketAxess Holdings, integrate IMTC’s platform with MarketAxess’ electronic trading network.
The firms say the integration will allow MarketAxess liquidity to be accessible from IMTC’s portfolio and order management workflows, and enable mutual clients to route orders to MarketAxess directly from IMTC’s platform to tap into differentiated liquidity across credit products.
Spencer Lee, head of products, MarketAxess, Americas, says: “By integrating with IMTC’s portfolio and order management technology, we are embedding that liquidity directly into the investment workflow, making it easier for our mutual clients to discover opportunities, execute with confidence, and achieve better outcomes across fixed-income markets.”
Russell Feldman, CEO of IMTC, adds: “As firms look to scale fixed income management, portfolio managers need optimisation, compliance, and execution to operate in one connected workflow. The firms further explain the relationship is designed to bring MarketAxess’ electronic liquidity closer to the point of portfolio decision making, support portfolio managers in scaling custom fixed income portfolios, help to reduce transaction costs, and streamline end-to-end trade workflows.
