The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has appointed Samir Pandiri as managing director and chief client officer.

Reporting to Frank La Salla, president and CEO, Pandiri will oversee DTCC’s global client management team, DTCC consulting services, and marketing and communications, holding overarching responsibility for building long-term partnerships and driving innovation.

With over 30 years of experience in finance, Pandiri has managed large organisations, driven key post-trade infrastructure initiatives, and collaborated with senior leaders across the industry, says the firm.

Prior to joining DTCC, Pandiri held executive-level leadership positions, most recently at TMF Group as regional head for Americas and BIL, as well as positions at Apex Group, Broadridge International, and BNY.

Speaking on Pandiri’s appointment, La Salla says: “Samir’s unique combination of skills will enable us to build stronger relationships across the industry and serve as a strategic partner to our clients.

“His deep knowledge of global finance and post-trade infrastructure will be critical as we advance initiatives to enhance market structure, mitigate risks, and create the digital markets of the future.”

Pandiri comments: “I have had the privilege of interacting directly or indirectly with DTCC over the years, and from those experiences, I have developed a deep appreciation and respect for the critical work of the company and the outstanding people who deliver on its mission every day.”
