Finadium launches new white paper

Analyzing Custody Costs for ERISA Plans: The Impact of New Rule Changes on Transparency, Fees and Reporting

Finadium has released a free white paper on ERISA changes, notably Section 408(b)2. These changes, effective July 2011, require ERISA plan sponsors to not only publish fees paid to service providers but also to affirm that those fees are fair and reasonable.

While a variety of service providers will be affected, ERISA plan fiduciaries face particular challenges when evaluating costs for custody, prime brokerage, securities lending and related services. This article highlights some of the expected and unexpected changes ahead and encourages ERISA plan managers to start thinking about these issues now.

A free copy of the report is available from the Finadium website.
