Vista Equity Partners has announced it is considering a cash offer for Misys. The financial software services provider agreed a merger deal with Temenos in early February.
According to the Financial Times, the Vista offer is worth £1.2 billion. Other private equity companies are considering offers, the FT added.
"Any proposal regarding Misys will be subject to the satisfactory completion of due diligence and a recommendation from Misys’ board of directors. Vista reserves the right to waive any of these requirements," the company said in a regulatory announcement.
