Another mandate for SS&C’s MarketTrader

Boutique equity research firm Monness Crespi Hardt has selected SS&C’s MarketTrader Order Management System for its broker-dealer platform, to support the growth of the business.

The solution addresses the order and execution needs of broker-dealers and aims to increase the efficiency of the trading process. It includes functions for order capture, execution, and transaction and compliance reporting.

Neil Crespi, president at Monness Crespi Hardt, said: "We selected SS&C after an in-depth review of order management system suppliers. The combination of SS&C MarketTrader's features, functionality, integration with other service providers and the firm’s willingness to get the job done convinced us of its ability to become our business partner for the future."

He also praised SS&C’s methods of implementation, saying: “A smooth transition to a new order management provider was extremely important to us as our [order management system] is the lifeblood of our business. We couldn’t afford to be down for a minute and the team at SS&C did a great job in getting us up and running without missing a beat.”

“The client service team handled all of our questions and needs quickly and efficiently and went the extra mile to ensure the transition went smoothly with our traders and most importantly our clients.”

Bill Stone, chairman and CEO of SS&C, said: "We are delighted to have been selected by Monness Crespi Hardt, one of the leading boutique equity research broker-dealers.”

He added: “We are equally pleased with the continued expansion of MarketTrader’s client base, solidifying our position as a valued partner in helping broker-dealers meet the demands of a challenging marketplace.”
