Brown Shipley passes 10,000-mark with SimCorp system

Private bank Brown Shipley is now using SimCorp’s Coric Client Communications system to generate about 10,000 six-monthly client reports.

Coric is an end-to-end reporting and communications suite designed to help buy-side firms automate their client reporting processes, and allowing business users to create and modify reports independently.

By reducing the manual effort required in generating and validating reports, Coric is designed to improve operational efficiency and allows services teams to focus on client-facing, rather than administrative, tasks.

Brown Shipley’s adoption of SimCorp Coric was part of a move to improve client service and to provide customised solutions to clients’ needs. Private client reports have been redesigned in order to present the portfolio valuation data in a clearer and more readable format.

Matthew Lucas, head of transformation at Brown Shipley, said: “Our approach is about finding solutions to effectively accommodate changing client requirements, embracing technology innovations where appropriate to ensure those requirements are met.”

“SimCorp Coric enriches our client experience and is also helping to drive significant efficiencies throughout our operation, ultimately improving our ability to be more responsive to our clients.”

Klaus Andersen, managing director at SimCorp Coric, said: “Brown Shipley’s quest for innovation in client service is inspirational. We are very proud of the contribution that SimCorp Coric is making in terms of improving operational efficiency and enhancing client service.”
