Russell Investments appoints Maarten Roeleveld

Russell Investments has appointed Maarten Roeleveld as director of business development in Benelux countries.

Roeleveld will focus on delivering multi-asset investment solutions, as well as transition management and currency overlays services. He is also responsible for development of the firm’s institutional activities in the Benelux region.

Having joined on 3 April, Roeleveld is positioned in the Amsterdam office, which is responsible for the northern European region, and reports to Martijn Kuipers, managing director of Northern Europe.

Kuipers said: “Maarten Roeleveld brings to Russell Investments a wealth of knowledge about the Benelux market and has a deep understanding of the challenges professional investors face.”

Kuipers added: “His knowledge and experience are a valuable addition to the existing team, and we believe his arrival will increase our strength in the market to deliver desired outcomes to existing and new customers."

Roeleveld, commented: “Russell Investments is a leading asset manager with a diverse product mixes that fits well with the current needs of the investor market, particularly the firm’s multi-asset approach and independent fiduciary services.”
