BNY Mellon hires new head of Americas business development

BNY Mellon has appointed Frank Anduiza as head of Americas business development of hedge fund services.

In this role, Anduiza’s will lead and execute the sales efforts in BNY Mellon's hedge fund services business in the US, Canada and Latin America.

As part of this mandate, he will be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive solutions to the hedge fund, credit fund and hybrid fund marketplace.

Anduiza joins BNY Mellon from Citigroup prime brokerage, where he was a business development executive, based in New York.

Prior to his role in prime brokerage, Anduiza was a business development executive for hedge fund administration, middle office and custody, and also served as a senior credit officer to the asset management sector including hedge funds and private equity firms.

Before joining Citi in 2005, Anduiza was a counterparty credit officer in the mutual fund group at both Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan.

Peter Salvage, global head of hedge fund services at BNY Mellon, commented: "Frank Anduiza brings a wealth of experience to this role and we are very excited to have him on the team.”

He added: “His deep knowledge of hedge fund needs and his track record developing business will be critical for BNY Mellon in serving our expanding client base of hedge, credit and hybrid private equity funds."
