Brompton Asset Management picks Multrees Investor Services for custody services

Brompton Asset Management (Brompton) has selected Multrees Investor Services (Multrees) to provide custody and administration services for its private clients and platform technology across the business.

Headquartered in London, Brompton specialises in managing multi-asset portfolios on behalf of financial intermediary partners, charities, mutual fund investors and private clients as well as offering direct real estate investment services.

The partnership will include the provision of a customised client portal, a platform and bespoke client reporting.

The technology service automates manual processes with integrated straight-through processing, removing the need for rekeying and minimising risk.

Appointing Multrees as private client custodian will also reduce the need for multiple processes for various custodians, instead streamlining to a single instruction, says Brompton Asset Management.

Multrees provides a range of outsourced investment services to wealth managers, private banks, family offices and advisory businesses.

Chris Fisher, CEO at Multrees, comments: “Brompton’s significant success and growth over the past decade has led to an operational challenge of managing multiple clients across a variety of custodians, jurisdictions, currencies and types of assets. We are delighted to be able to support this growth with our unique, integrated technology and service capabilities.”

John Duffield, senior partner at Brompton, says: “As our business grows, our clients benefit from our use of innovative technology providers and administrators. The experience and expertise of the Multrees team and our shared priority in providing clients with excellent service should ensure a successful partnership.”
