Clearwater Analytics, a technology platform for investment management, and J.P. Morgan Asset Management, have initiated an integration that changes how hedge funds can manage cash.
The offering unites Enfusion, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for the investment management and hedge fund industry by Clearwater Analytics straight, to the Morgan Money trading platform, J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s short-term investment management solution.
The firms say this will provide clients an automated workflow for investing and supervising inactive cash, enabling hedge funds to maximise idle cash through mechanically investing in a diversified range of money market funds.
The company says it diminishes concentration risk by sharing cash through various managers, custodians, and currencies, adding better liquidity visibility through real-time data.
Scott Erickson, chief revenue officer at Clearwater Analytics, says: “Every dollar sitting in a single account represents both a missed opportunity and unnecessary concentration risk.
“Together with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, we’ve built a system that makes cash an active, automated asset — helping hedge funds capture more yield, strengthen governance, and simplify operations.”
Paul Przybylski, global head of product strategy and morgan money at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, adds: “Our collaboration with Clearwater Analytics reflects our shared commitment to delivering institutional-grade solutions that simplify complexity.
“This integration gives hedge funds a straightforward way to enhance yield, diversification, and liquidity overnight without adding operational burden."
