Temple Capital, a digital asset investment manager, has joined a digital asset collateral mirroring solution offered by OKX, a global digital asset exchange and onchain technology company.
The firm says that the arrangement leverages Standard Chartered’s institutional custody services for digital assets, which enables clients to trade efficiently on OKX while their assets remain securely held with Standard Chartered.
Under the new arrangement, the majority of Temple Capital’s assets are held off-exchange in segregated accounts with Standard Chartered, while corresponding balances are mirrored on OKX, which the firm says enables efficient trading execution.
The firm adds that by separating custody and trading functions, Temple Capital’s approach aligns the operational standards of digital asset management with established traditional finance models — where custodians, exchanges, and prime brokers operate independently to enhance transparency and risk control.
Guy Griffiths, chief financial officer of Temple Capital, comments: “This custody solution enables our fund to maintain efficient on-exchange execution, while benefitting from tier-one, institutional-grade asset custody.”
Rifad Mahasneh, CEO of OKX MENA, says: “These partnerships are at the heart of our institutional offering, providing efficient and accessible trading while putting in place the right mechanisms to help mitigate counterparty risk.”
