AllUnity, a regulated European stablecoin issuer, has joined Swiss Fintech Innovations (SFTI), an independent association of regional financial institutions aiming to drive collaboration and digital innovation throughout the financial services sector.

The firm says that, with its Electronic Money Institutions (EMI) licence issued by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), it brings a “highly relevant perspective” to SFTI.

AllUnity also outlines its understanding of stablecoins as an emerging infrastructure layer as valuable to the association.

Its Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA)-regulated stablecoins — euro-pegged EURAU, Swiss franc-denominated CHFAU, and Swedish krona-backed SEKAU — demonstrate that the digital currency can support new forms of settlement, liquidity management, and cross-border payment use cases.

Commenting on joining the association, Alexander Höptner, CEO at AllUnity, says: “With three MiCAR-compliant stablecoins already live, we bring practical insights into how regulated stablecoins can transform and optimise settlement, liquidity management, and cross-border payments.”

Stephanie Wickihalder, president of SFTI, adds: “AllUnity brings a strong and timely perspective on regulated stablecoins, digital settlement and programmable financial infrastructure.”

Andra Maute, member of the management team and working group lead at SFTI, comments: “Having AllUnity as a working group member is critical for pressure-testing our business model frameworks against a live issuer, and for understanding how a MiCA-regulated European operator has addressed the same structural challenges Switzerland faces.”
