01 May 2025 US

Clearwater has acquired Beacon, a provider of risk analytics and development infrastructure.
By integrating Becon’s cross-asset risk and scenario modelling, Clearwater will be able to create a platform which unifies the entire investment lifecycle, the company says.
The acquisition also intends to strengthen Clearwater’s offering in portfolio management across public and private markets, including private credit and derivatives.
On the acquisition, Sandeep Sahai, CEO of Clearwater, says: “With Beacon, we’ve expanded our platform to deliver end-to-end support across the entire investment lifecycle.”
Kirat Singh, president of risk and performance at Clearwater and former CEO and co-founder of Beacon, adds: “By joining Clearwater, we can now deliver these capabilities at scale. Together, we’re helping investors move beyond reporting to real-time action, with the infrastructure global institutions need to succeed.”
