Northern Trust has been selected by Aristotle Capital Management to supply contracting out solutions for institutional investment holdings administered by its equity associates.

US$40 billion in assets is estimated to be under management as part of the portfolio from the alliance.

Northern Trust will deliver Investment Operations Outsourcing (IOO) through its merged middle office platform as part of the commission.

Ryan Burns, head of Global Fund Services, Americas at Northern Trust, says: “The complexity of the middle office is increasing, and asset managers need advanced expertise and technology to expand their operations.

Kim St. Hilaire, principal, managing director Operations and Trading, Aristotle said: “At Aristotle, our organisational structure and technology infrastructure support multiple affiliates, which demands a sophisticated middle office solution to work effectively across the organisation.”
