Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, and Bidget Wallet, a self-custodial crypto wallet, are now offering live trading of tokenised stocks and ETFs through a new integration with Ondo Finance

The exchange and wallet providers are among the first platforms to give direct access to equities and ETFs onchain for users outside the US.

Through incorporating blockchain’s abilities and secure infrastructure to reach global trading, the firms say they have opened up consumer access to financial services usually restricted to institutional investors.

With recently added real-world asset (RWA) models, Bitget Onchain and Bidget Wallet consumers can search for and exchange more than 100 tokenised RWAs

Every token provides total-return exposure to its underlying security, reflecting price movements and reinvested dividends while being fully backed by RWAs held with regulated custodians.

The tokens can be bought for a minimum investment of US$1.

Gracet Chen, CEO at Bidget says: “The Bitget ecosystem thrives on the success of bridging TradFi vehicles to the new age of decentralised finance. With Bitget’s exchange platform and the self-custodial wallet enabling Ondo’s tokenised assets, we’re bringing high-potential global investment to the crypto market without having to go through the hassle that was previously faced with accessing these instruments. This is what the future of finance now looks like.”

Jamie Elkaleh, chief market officer of Bidget Wallet adds: "Real-world assets are now an integral part of the onchain economy. Integrating Ondo Finance marks a key step in our strategy to position Bitget Wallet as a global asset passport, advancing our Crypto for Everyone vision by providing borderless access to global financial markets through blockchain and self-custody infrastructure."
