Clearwater Analytics (CWAN), a technology provider for investment management, is enhancing its alternative asset solution to target the scalability and compliance challenges the US$2.5 trillion private credit market is experiencing.
The firm says the new competencies allow institutions to efficiently grow allocations to private credit and private funds.
The added capabilities involve automating bespoke loan structure, boosting fund research with AI, combining data across asset owners and managers, and merging mortgage reporting.
The alternative assets solution is now available to financial institutions internationally.
The firm says private credit allocations have increased three-fold since 2018, with companies facing bottlenecks in fragmented systems, due diligence and growing compliance requirements.
Kirat Singh, president, risk and alternative assets at CWAN, says: “Private credit is no longer a niche allocation — it’s central to institutional portfolios. But the operating model hasn’t kept pace. CWAN is delivering the infrastructure that allows firms to increase allocations without increasing operational risk.”
